This house-shaped charm was made by Shimizu Yuta of "Ruchie," who has a studio in Hakone, using the traditional Japanese craft of marquetry. The
natural wood texture is a perfect match for the leather of the Traveler's Notebook. The texture of the wood, made by combining various types of wood, changes and becomes more tasteful the more you use it. You can of course use it by threading the rubber band of your Traveler's Notebook through the hole on the side, but it also looks great as a hair rubber band.
